Meet Russell Knudsen, a fifth generation Marin County Native, with a deep connection to the environment around him, and a passionate goal to protect it. Outside of his love of writing stories Russell enjoys family gatherings, and is a dedicated track and field coach. A lifelong storyteller, Russell has now brought his stories to you with “Bobbie Otter and the Great Pacific Garbage Patch” being his first Father and Son self published collaboration, with more environmentally aware books soon to follow.
Meet Jeremy Knudsen, similarly born and raised in Fairfax, California. He has a background in environmental studies and “la’au lapa’au” from University of Hawaii. La’au lapa’au involves using native plants, herbs, and spirituality to treat ailments and injuries. He is also a gifted songwriter and performer known as “Sol Doc” and has played live shows throughout the Bay Area for over 10 years. His songwriting has now expanded into literature with “Bobbie Otter and the Great Pacific Garbage Patch” with his first Father and Son self published collaboration.
